WELCOME TO OUR 1ST BIOSAFETY AND BIOSECURITY CONFERENCE!
Rwanda Biosafety and Biosecurity Organization is a national NGO of professionals working in human, veterinary, agriculture and environmental health sectors with one goal of promoting the Biosafety and Biosecurity in Rwanda.
Our aim is to improve the Biosafety and Biosecurity in Rwanda by bringing together all professionals from medical institutions (for human and animals), agriculture and environmental sectors, academic institutions, researchers, policymakers, NGOs and the private sector to foster synergistic collaboration and expertise for each domain/sector especially for one health capacity building.
Purpose of the conference
This event created a scientific environment where biosafety & biosecurity professionals met up and shared their experiences through their presentations, group works and panel discussions. It was also an occasion of discussing about challenges and solutions towards biosafety and biosecurity improvement in regards of epidemic and pandemic surveillance, preparedness and response in Rwanda.
